Ep15- "Tim Woodham: The People’s Tactician – Footy, Friendship & the Glenorchy Spirit"
In this episode of Tassie Footy Life, we sit down with one of Tasmania’s most revered footy minds, Tim Woodham, a cunning tactician, a gifted mentor, and one of the most beloved figures in the Tasmanian football community.
From his early days captaining New Norfolk’s U19s to a near move to Fitzroy, Tim's playing and coaching journey spans some of the most iconic eras in Tassie footy. Whether it was pulling on the white boots in a grand final, getting concussed and still coming back to snag a couple, or playing half-back for the first time ever in a TFL decider, Tim’s footy life is full of rich stories, strategic insight, and raw passion for the game.
But Tim’s contribution goes far beyond the white line. Assistant coach, club legend, mentor, and always the first to back his people. He’s the bloke players wanted in their corner and clubs wanted in their camp.
This is a celebration of the man who understood the game better than most, and who’s still helping Glenorchy and the greater footy family in any way he can.
